Adult Learning and Skills Service | Norfolk

Do you enjoy working with others to solve problems, improve services and make a meaningful difference to people’s lives? We are looking for two enthusiastic, highly organised and customer-focused Operations Officers to join our Adult Learning and Skills Service, helping adults across Norfolk access life-changing learning opportunities and achieve their full potential.

This is a varied, rewarding and fast-paced role at the heart of our service, where teamwork and collaboration are central to success. As part of a supportive and high-performing operations team, you will work closely with curriculum staff, learners, venue providers and colleagues across the wider service to ensure learning programmes run smoothly and effectively. From coordinating venues, resources, ICT and course administration to providing tailored support that helps learners overcome barriers to learning, your contribution will directly influence learner achievement and experience.

No two days are the same. You will use excellent IT skills, strong administration capabilities and outstanding customer service skills to manage information accurately, respond to learner and staff enquiries, coordinate resources and help deliver a seamless learning experience. You will have a keen eye for detail, take pride in getting things right first time, can analyse issues quickly, and enjoy finding practical solutions to operational challenges.

Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, reduce costs and enhance the learner journey, ensuring that both learners and staff receive exceptional support. Your ideas and initiative will help shape how the service operates and contributes to continuous improvement.

This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact. Your work will help create positive learning environments, support successful outcomes and enable adults across Norfolk to gain skills, confidence and opportunities that can transform their lives. If you thrive in a busy environment, enjoy problem-solving, value teamwork and are passionate about delivering outstanding service, we would love to hear from you.
