Across the Eastern Region, we see how much Children’s Services matter. All of our colleagues in Children’s Services are working with such commitment to improve the experiences and outcomes of children and families.

We are a partnership of 11 local authorities working together through a unique and ambitious collaboration. By combining our strengths, we have achieved significant improvements across the region — including reducing the number of children in care by up to a third in some areas.

Together, we have also developed an Anti‑Racist Practice Pledge, signed by all 11 authorities, expanded training opportunities for colleagues working in SEND, and built a wide range of supportive professional networks across children’s services.

Innovation is at the heart of our work. New ideas are co‑designed collaboratively and implemented consistently across the region, ensuring that our teams can learn, grow, and deliver the best possible outcomes for children and families.
