Project Support Officer (Green Spaces) | 9328 | Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2028 | 37 hours per week | £31,537 to £33,699 per annum (Scale G) | County Hall, Norwich Norfolk County Council is looking for an organised and passionate individual to join the Green Spaces Team, in the role of Project Support Officer. This role provides a unique opportunity to make a real impact in protecting and enhancing Norfolk’s environment and heritage. The Green Spaces team are responsible for delivering 1 million trees for Norfolk, as well as protecting and restoring Norfolk’s historic mills in partnership with Norfolk Windmills Trust. This role provides administrative and project support throughout the project lifecycles, varying from significant, high-profile strategic initiatives to on the ground collaboration with local communities. We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and administrative skills. This role will have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of project management and you will have some experience of working in a project-based environment. You will be adaptable, passionate and can bring energy and commitment to successful project delivery. As part of this role, you will assist with premises and property management responsibilities, ensuring our historic assets remain safe, accessible and fit for purpose and you will have some experience with the built environment. You will also work closely with volunteers across the historic mill estate, helping to coordinate their involvement across the sites, and you must have effective communication skills for working with communities and community development.
