We are seeking a proactive FM Operations Officer to support the FM Operations Managers in maintaining Norfolk County Council’s (NCC) diverse property portfolio. This role ensures that all properties remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained by efficiently allocating reactive and planned maintenance tasks to contractors and monitoring completion.

As the, you will triage incoming issues, prioritizing health and safety concerns, and ensure that work is assigned swiftly and accurately. You will coordinate contractor attendance, verify compliance with statutory requirements (including CDM and RAMS), and track performance. Financial oversight is key, as you will manage low-value maintenance budgets, process invoices, and ensure value for money within NCC procurement guidelines.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. You should have experience in facilities management, contractor coordination, and administrative processes within a property services environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems is desirable.
