What will you be doing?

Have you got stand out leadership skills that are impacting and energetic?

Do you have a big heart that leads with kindness, motivating and inspiring others?

Can you bring creativity, confidence and a brilliant sense of humour?

The Cambridgeshire 0-25 Disability Service is looking for these special skills in a Deputy Manager who will help lead our residential children’s home for children and young people with SEND.

This is more than a job. It’s movie nights, celebrations, life-changing conversations, problem-solving, team building, and helping our children and young people achieve things that were never thought possible.

Working alongside the Registered Manager you’ll create a safe, fun and nurturing residential home where children can grow in confidence, develop independence and enjoy the childhood they deserve.

No two days are ever the same!

You will have the chance to lead an amazing team, helping them be their best.

Building significant relationships with children, young people and their families, you’ll have the skills to be able instil confidence and show that children are safe, valued and supported.

Children’s voices are at the heart of what we do, and you will be the champion that they need to make sure that they are heard.

About you

We want you to tell us how you’ve made great outcomes happen for children and young people, how you remain calm and focused, what you do to manage a variety of competing priorities, how you’ve kept children safe and how you’ve made a difference to the performance of a team or led through a period of change with incredible results.

We want to hear about the impact you’ve made, not just the duties you’ve performed.

If your application simply lists responsibilities, you’ll miss the opportunity to stand out. We’re looking for evidence of excellence, initiative, leadership and a genuine commitment to achieving the very best for children and young people.

We believe that every child deserves someone who believes in them and every team deserves a leader who inspires them.

If you’re ready to bring your passion, leadership and experience to a role where every day matters, then we want to hear from you.
