The team

The Make A Change Team offers a countywide service for children and young people who are at risk of or are victims of child exploitation. The team covers all areas of child exploitation, including concerns for child sexual exploitation, criminal and/or sexual gangs and groups, missing episodes, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, radicalisation and modern-day slavery.

The Harmful Sexual Behaviour Service within CYP works alongside social care teams to offer support and services to children who are showing worrying sexualised behaviours but are not subject of any court order, as those children are managed within the youth justice system.

The Positive Choices Team work with adults who have suffered the loss of a child through adoption or long-term alternative care. This team specifically works with parents to avoid repeat pregnancy and therefore trauma related to loss.
