We’re looking for a proactive and well-organised individual to provide administrative and project support to a variety of strategic and operational projects within the Norfolk Trails team. Norfolk Trails are a promoted network of walking, cycling, and horse-riding routes, offering more than 1200 miles of countryside access. The network includes flagship routes such as Marriott’s Way, Kett’s Country Trail, Weaver’s Way, and the Boudicca Way, as well as the Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path National Trail — one of only 16 National Trails in England and Wales. Norfolk Trails are more than just lines on a map. They provide opportunities for people to get out and about in nature and connect with the world around them. They offer a moment of peace in busy modern lives, the opportunity to leave the car behind and a chance for a free adventure (small or large) with family and friends. We’re looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with experience in project support. You’ll be proactive, with demonstrable experience in administration and confident working across multiple priorities. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with spreadsheets and handling numerical data. You’ll assist Team Leaders in developing and delivering projects and support systems to support a high-quality access network which welcomes everyone to explore Norfolk’s amazing natural and cultural heritage. This is a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy team responsible for maintaining and improving the Norfolk Trails routes.
