Our Vision

The local community is at the heart of everything we do. We’re accountable to our people which is why we will take ownership and responsibility for our actions. We aim to create a collaborative, creative and aspirational culture to ensure the best quality of life for all our residents.

Our Mission

Our mission is to delivery equal access to our services; proactively addressing deprivation and disadvantage, empowering young people to make age-appropriate positive decisions about their lives and equipping them for a positive future.

Our Social Workers will be given the tools and resources they need to consistently deliver a high quality of care. With manageable caseloads and effective direction from senior team members, we’ll support growth throughout their careers.

A key factor in delivering appropriate care will be the implementation of tailored care plans for each child. You’ll be collaborating with our local partners to identify how best to meet each child and young person’s needs; including health, education, identity, family relationships and hobbies. For children over the age of 16, you’ll be responsible for developing a Pathway Plan to ensure that the care you’re delivering grows with their needs.

These clear, consistent strategies will help you fulfil your potential as a social worker. With Cambridgeshire County Council, you’ll be able to make the changes you want to see.
