Project Officer (All To Play For) | 10674 | Fixed Term Contract until June 2028 | 14.8 hours per week | £32,061 to £33,699 per annum pro rata (Scale G) | Norfolk
Join us in transforming lives through the power of sport and community connection.
Active Norfolk is seeking an enthusiastic, relationship-focused, and highly motivated Project Officer to co-ordinate the expansion of our successful All to Play For programme into South Norfolk and Broadland.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in bringing an innovative mental health and physical activity programme to new communities, helping more men access support, build connections, and improve their wellbeing through football based activities.
About the Role
As Project Officer, you will work closely with partners across health, community, voluntary, sport, and local authority sectors to identify opportunities, build meaningful relationships, and embed the programme within existing support networks for men experiencing mental health challenges.
A key part of the role will be coordinating accessible, welcoming, and inclusive football sessions delivered by external coaches and providers, ensuring high-quality delivery that meets local needs and creates positive experiences for participants.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on building relationships and bringing people together around a shared purpose.
You will need to be a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. Most importantly, you’ll be passionate about creating opportunities that improve people’s lives and committed to working collaboratively with partners to achieve lasting impact.
You may have experience in project coordination, community development, partnership management, health improvement, sport for development, or a related field. Equally important is your ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders, identify opportunities, and turn ideas into action.
Why Join Us?
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of an established and impactful programme as it expands into a new area. You’ll have the chance to build meaningful partnerships, support communities, and help men access opportunities that improve both their physical and mental wellbeing.
If you’re an adaptable, proactive individual who believes in the power of physical activity to connect people, strengthen communities, and improve lives, we’d love to hear from you.
Active Norfolk is striving to ensure our team reflects the diverse communities we aim to support, so we welcome applications from individuals of any background.
In return we think we have lots to offer. This is a role with an opportunity to make your own. We might be biased, but we think it’s a great role in a great place. If you think you have what it takes, we would love to hear from you.
