We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ABA Tutor to work one to one with a child who has an EHCP. You will be supporting a child with an EHCP on a one to one basis. You will work within the Specialist Support Unit at the school alongside a supportive and specialist team and you will have a drive and passion for inclusion. Knowledge and experience of working as an ABA Tutor is desirable with prior experience in implementing Applied Behaviour Analysis programmes. You will work closely with a supervising Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and the specialist provision team to deliver individualised teaching and behaviour support programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the ABA programme with consistency, accuracy and professionalism.
  • Apply advanced teaching and behaviour management strategies in line with ABA principles.
  • Collect, analyse and report data to inform programme adjustments.
  • Provide feedback to the supervising Behavior Analyst and contribute to programme refinement.
  • Maintain session quality, ensuring best practice and adherence to ethical standards (UK-SBA code of ethics).
  • Demonstrate initiative in problem-solving and adapting teaching methods to the learner’s needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience working as an ABA tutor or specialist SEND teaching experience in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and direct application in one to one and/or group settings.
  • Proficiency in data collection and session reporting.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills with children, families and professionals.
  • Reliability, professionalism, and a proactive approach to learning.
  • Preferred: RBT certification. Must otherwise be willing to work towards gaining RBT or equivalent qualification.
