Hours: 37 Hours per week
Location: You will be expected to attend a CBC office location as often as needed to carry out your role, which will be no less than once per month.

About the role:
It’s an exciting time at Central Bedfordshire’s Housing Service.
The Housing Asset Investment Officer is an exciting opportunity within the Housing Directorate to support the delivery planned improvements within our housing stock of some 5,200+ homes across Central Bedfordshire.
Working within the Planned Works Team our Housing Asset Investment Officer supports the capital investment programme, ensuring our homes are safe and to meet our obligations to achieve the Decent Homes Standard. You will be someone who puts the customer at the heart of everything they do & embeds equality and diversity in all aspects of the Housing Services delivery.
Day to day the role provides central administration and review of data, asset information to inform our improvement programme. The programme includes workstreams for kitchen and bathroom replacement, Roofing, Windows, Doors and internal/ external improvements across our housing portfolio.
The role supports the delivery of asset performance and provides inputting data and updates on management IT systems, ensuring accurate account and monitoring of data to update the asset information for our housing portfolio.
Working within the Housing Planned Works Team, the role requires experience in data analysis and updating information IT management systems, to ensure quality data to inform reporting of Asset Performance and continuous review of our capital works programme.
Qualitifications and Experience:
- IT / Administration qualifications relevant to role.
- Experience of using IT Housing Management Systems to provide reports and data management.
- Relevant knowledge and experience in Housing / Property and planned works delivery.
- Knowledge of Social Housing Standards, Decent Homes Standard, HHRSR and Landlord responsibilities.
