Cambridgeshire County Council is looking for a Finance Assistant to join the Children’s Commissioning Finance Team on a permanent basis. What will you be doing? You will provide effective and accurate payment of c£39 million of Children’s Commissioning transactions, ensuring that Providers are accurately paid and agencies invoiced. You will assist with the monitoring of budgets in accordance with Council financial processes, systems and instructions and complete regular integrity checks and reconciliations to ensure that all payments made are correct.If you are a highly motivated, proactive, organised and innovative finance professional with a proven track record of delivery, apply today! About you You will have previous experience within finance and will have previously worked with finance systems and kept accurate financial records. You will have knowledge of payment systems, ERP and ideally previous exposure to CONTROCC .You will have good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and will have good interpersonal and customer care skills and the ability to proactively lead, deal with and resolve provider queries regarding payments.
